My walmart is understaffed and we work our butts off. If you belong to the clique you can walk around all day doing next to nothing leaving most of the work for the closer crew. Most frustrating job I have ever had and now they are cutting back on hours. I feel for the families that depend on pay to support their families and benefits. Where does the madness stop?
i think walmart should higher our pay every 3 mons. based ipon our performace. most of us work very hard and they dont seem to see that. an d i also think p/t should get medical coverage.
my walmart have butt kissers and managers that show favoritism and some are just plan racists. they work the ones that will work like dogs and catch attitudes when theres a call in you can be down right sick and they ask lots of questions no doubt i think you should take time off if you have sick time its ours. they get sick as well and they dont get the kick in the butt.thats why we have walkout all the time they dont treat their workers right.

I don't know about walmart but I would say that it is not to different than Sam's and I have work there for over eleven years and it has made me be self supporting I have respect very good pay good benefits I got $2500.00 for two years bonus they did not have to do that yes they want me to do my job yes when I am on the clock what need to be done is my job I do not care what the next associate is doing as long as I don't have to back up to get my pay You need to thank where you would be if you did not have a job and if you can't respect a place you work THEY DON'T NEED YOU
As long as I have worked for this company they have also had there butt kissers and that is who moves up the company ladder. As for the Sam Walton way which was the Customer Service and the Employee Family's being important not any more Wal-mart does not care about any one but themself's. As for the asst.managers it is just who they can land in the sack. Wal-mart treats the employee like something on the bottom of your shoe. We get all the reject Managers that get demoted because they got no busy every being a Store Manager.

I personally as a small business owner in the food industery, that consist of 10 employees. I offer better Health Insurance witch offers a $10 co pay Dr. visit, precreption $10 co pay, FREE Life Ins. I sure do think that YOU at WAL-MART that is a MULTI-BILLION $$ COMPANY offer alot more!!!!!! Than a 20-80 plan.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read a lot of comments concerning the complaints at Wal-Mart. I know my opinion doesn't count for much, but here it is. No one can make another person feel inferior without their permission. Saying that I mean, if you're unhappy in your workplace, by all means find something else to do. Why let people disrespect you until you feel inferior? Don't stay in a dead-end job if you are miserable. Perhaps going back to school is an option. Get educated, set your goals and find the job that you will be qualified for after graduation. I know it's hard, because I did it. I struggled to get my degree and now that I have it, I can write my own ticket. Anyone can do it if they set their minds to it. Another thing I have to say, when you write your comments, please, please have a dictionary of a thesaurus at hand. I work very hard in my job. The only thing that I would really like too see more is to have more Teamwork. The dept. that I work in, there is no teamwork. There is only 4 workers, plus the supervisor in my dept. 3 of the workers have this attitude where they feel they shouldn't have to do anymore then they should. I feel that if Walmart hired you in to work a certain dept., because you chose to work or applied for that dept., then it is your sole responsibility too keep that dept. cleaned. No matter what job you are working. These 3 workers never want to come out of their box and help keep the dept. clean. It only hurts the ones that have to do it all. I myself feel that if you don't want to come out of your box, to help get your dept. clean, then I feel management should give that worker less hours to complete their task and go home. i've worked for wal-mart going on eight years and i've found that if you ever use the open door policy or you complain about how you are getting treated then they find ways to make your job harder. the managers doesn't stand behind the store policies that the service desk associates are to go by. i've also seen alot of favortism and butt kissing going on. i work with two people that seem to do alot of butt kissing and they get the better hours and it seems that they can come in when they want no matter what the schedule has them at. our pay is not enough for everything that we put up with. i make 9.27 an hour and it has taken me almost eight years for that. i work hard at my job on the service desk to satisify customers and take care of their needs but the managers appreciatioin is far too little.

I love working at WALMART!I've been driving for them for 16 years now. I have worked a lot longer for a lot less pay. The open door policy works where I work. Some (most people) are hard workers, a few aren't. If you don't want to work at Wal-Mart, do us all a favor, leave. Let someone who wants to work have your job. I am a living testimony that people can change if someone believes in them enough. I have been with the compnay for 13 years now. When I first hired on I just knew I wouldnt make it. I was an average associate with average goals-do the job/get the check/go home/no more/no less. Someone took me under the wing and told me that I could do much more if I applied myself. Once I started this process, things began to happen!!! Striving for excellence is what I began to do. I have gone from average assciate to manager. My point is... CHALLENGE YOURSELF-who knows what position you may hold next. Wal-Mart has so many doors of opportunity just waiting for you. Make Your Move. I did it, so can you.
