Temporal lobe epilepsy is a form of focal epilepsy, a chronic neurological conition characterized by recurrent seizures. While focal epilepsy accounts for about 50% of all epilepsy cases, the prevalence of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) among these cases remains uncertain.
