Montecasino is a major recreational centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. It has the biggest movie screen in all of Africa name "Il Grande". It also has a casino and a skate park. It is named after Montecassino and is built to look like an old Italian castle, even having fake sky inside. It was voted the best entertainment complex in South Africa in 2006. It has just launched a new piazza area consisting of 6 new restaurants, a high-class business hotel and a 1900 seater theater,The Teatro, which is currently the largest theater in South Africa. The theater is showing the Disney broadway musical The Lion King. It is the first Lion King show to have an entirely local cast due to the amazing standard of the local South African performers.
