Meievia is an online fantasy-themed text-based game, often referred to as a MUD. The game was initially created by Michael A. Smith, Anthony Rowley, and Michael Krause in the early 1990s, using the Merc 1.00 MUD engine. The relationship between the Merc MUD codebase and Medievia's code is the subject of some controversy.
