Chronic cystic mastitis, also calle fibrocystic disease, Diffuse cystic mastopathy and Mammary dysplasia is a condition rather than a disease. An estimated 30-60% of women suffer from this condition. It is characterized by noncancerous lumps in the breast. Nevertheless, it can be organised into the Mastitis spectrum.
